Story
This was my first commissioned painting. It is from a photo taken by Irene Johansson of their camp on the lake. It’s a magical spot, so the pressure was great.
Process
Irene’s photo:
A prior version before tackling the chair and dealing with the sunset reflected in the water. I learned not to put paint down too thickly if I want to go back over it. That’s why they say, paint thin to thick.
