Backstory
I started this from a sketch, from a photo I won’t be able to find again. I used oil on watercolor paper. Then I finished it in gouache. Interestingly, the gouache didn’t stick to the oil – like when you draw with crayons on easter eggs and then try to dye them. Ok, you’ve probably never done that.
